KARACHI, Nov 30: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Swat to unload crude oil, Yannis, to offload DAP fertilizer, Ponl Buenos Aires, APL Jeddah and Eax Sanctity to unload and load containers, Al-Mamoori-2 and Sapanca to unload and load general cargo were berthed.

Four vessels, Corin Thaikos, Pu He, Hanjin Busan and Sutra Tiga departed on Wednesday, while Ponl Buenos Aires, Salcon, Swat, Chem Lily, APL Jeddah, Lukes Racer and Hyundai Highway are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was large as the total tonnage rose to 0.112m tons comprising 19,293 tons of export cargo including 4,247 tons of rice and 92,227 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Wappen Von Hamburg, with chemicals, APL Orchid and Thor Captain, with containers.
