Five judges confirmed

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: President Gen Pervez Musharraf confirmed on Tuesday the services of five judges of the Lahore High Court and extended the services of three additional judges of LHC for a period of one year, source said.

The services of Justice Sheikh Javed Sarfraz, Justice Mohammad Jehangir Arshad, Justice Fazl-i-Miran Chohan, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Umar Atta Bandial have been regularized under Article 193 of the Constitution.

Justice Mohammad Nawaz Bhatti, Justice Hamid Ali Shah and Justice Shabbar Raza Rizvi have been given one-year extension in the services under Article 197 of the Constitution.
