KUWAIT, Nov 29: Iraqi authorities have released seven Pakistanis who were imprisoned in Basra jail. All are the employees of a Kuwaiti construction company, Al-Hamra.
Iraqi police arrested them on August 13 when they were crossing into Iraq from Kuwait but their driver did not stop the vehicle they were travelling in when Iraqi police signalled them to stop so that their documents could be scrutinized.
Their names are: Mohammad Qazafi (Lahore), Malik Fazl Hussain (Lahore), Abdul Lal (Azad Kashmir), Zahid Hussain, Tehsin Khan, Musafar Khan, and Noor Mohammad Khan (Peshawar).—Online
