Belgian team to raise funds

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: A 17-member Belgian delegation on Tuesday announced that it would raise funds for Pakistani earthquake victims in their country and other parts of the European Union after they returned from Pakistan.

Led by a Belgian lawmaker Daniel Caron, the team included other legislators and electronic and print media people.

Caron said that main objective of their visit was to see the living conditions of the quake-affected people and during their two days stay in Balakot and Muzaffarabad, they were highly moved by the miserable living conditions of the hapless people.

Caron appealed to the world to come to the help of the quake-victims before many of them died of chilling cold and lack of basic requirements.
