ISLAMABAD, Nov 26: Justice Rana Bhagwandas, the senior most judge of the Supreme Court, was sworn in as the acting Chief Justice of Pakistan at a simple ceremony here on Saturday.
Justice Javed Iqbal, the next senior most judge, administered the oath.
Justice Bhagwandas has been made the acting chief justice as Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has gone to Manila to attend the International Conference on Judicial Reforms.
