PTA to host telecom meetings

KARACHI, Nov 26: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is hosting general assembly and meetings of management committee of the Asia Pacific Tele- community at the end of this month in Islamabad. According to the PTA, Pakistan is hosting the event — the 10th session of the APT general assembly, for the first time, which is being held from Nov 30 to Dec 2.

The general assembly will hold election for APT president and two vice-presidents for the next term.

The meetings of the APT’s management committee, which meets once a year, will be held from Dec 5 to 8. The PTA has invited over 100 foreign delegates from 37 countries.
