Imran snatches match-winner
LAHORE, Nov 25: A match-winner by Imran helped Faisalabad beat Bahawalpur 2-1 in a single league match of the Punjab Inter-district football championship on Friday.
Faisalabad drew first blood when striker Yasin scored a fine field goal in the 9th minute.
Bahawalpur scored the equaliser, two minutes before the first half through Abid Munawar who also banged home with a field goal.
Imran struck the winner in the 50th minute to seal the fate of the match. Lahore will meet Sargodha on Saturday.—BoC
