MIANWALI, Nov 25: Lahore High Court judge Mian Najamuz Zaman has said establishment of the LHC bench at Sargodha is not workable as the same demand has already been made by the Faisalabad bar. This he said while addressing local district bar association members, police and notables here on Friday. He also inaugurated the newly-constructed courts on the premises of sessions court.

Justice Zaman advised the district and sessions judge to put up the requisition of two civil judges for the quick disposal of pending cases.

About the construction of sheds for litigants, he said that funds had already been allocated for this purpose. While the funds for the provision of law books for the newly-built Bar library would soon be released, he said.

Earlier, DBA president Muhammad Ashraf Khan apprised the visiting dignitary of Bar demands and assured that the friendly relationship between the local bar and judiciary would continue.

District Nazim Obaidullah Shadikhel, Punjab Bar Council member Muhammad Akram Awan and journalists were also present on the occasion.
