Tax team for Tehran

ISLAMABAD, Nov 25: A two-member official tax delegation would leave on Sunday for Tehran to attend a meeting of the Association of Administrators of Islamic Countries on avoidance of double taxation.

A CBR official said the delegation led by Salman Nabi, member direct taxes, would attend the second technical meeting to evaluate a draft on avoidance of double taxation among OIC countries.

The association was constituted few years back with an aim to work out a mechanism for reducing the illegal cross-border transaction causing huge losses to the exchequer of member countries.
