Three matches decided in Gymkhana Cup

LAHORE, Nov 24:Three more matches were decided in the Lahore Gymkhana Cricket Cup at different grounds on Thursday. Universal Club beat Crescent Club by seven wickets at the Model Town ground.

In other matches, Muslim Gymkhana beat Shinning Club by two wickets at the Ali Garh ground while Dharampura earned victory over Apollo by 98 runs.

UNIVERSAL 205 for three in 36.3 overs (Babar Butt 94, Shahid Ahmed 63).

Muslim Gymkhana beat Shining Club by two wickets.

SHINING 207 in 40 overs ( Shahzad 41, Fahad Haq 59 , Imran Qadir 29; M.Shoaib 4-43, Hassan 3-39).

MUSLIM 208 for eight (Nadeem Karamat 59, Ahmed Shazad 44, Rizwan Ahmed 28, Noor Amin 23; Aqeel Arshad 3-20).

Dharampura Club beat Apollo Club by 98 runs.

DHARAMPURA 277 in 40 overs ( Asif Butt 128, Rehman Qadir 46, Atif Ijaz 36; Tahir 5-27, Ayub 2-37).

APOLLO: 179 in 32.5 overs (Tariq 51, Imtiaz 31; Qadir 3-15).
