LAHORE, Nov 24: Pakistan and Macau face each other for the first time when they meet in the inaugural AFC Challenge Football Cup to be jointly organized by Nepal and Bangladesh from March 25 to April 9.
Seventeen teams will take part in the event being introduced by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Pakistan and Macau have been placed in Group ‘D’ along with Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Group ‘A’ has India, Chinese Taipei, the Philippines and Afghanistan while Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Brunei are in Group ‘B’. Bangladesh, Palestine, Cambodia and Guam are in Group ‘C’. The matches of Groups ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be played in Nepal, while Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ matches will be played in Bangladesh.
