NEW DELHI, Nov 24: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq is expected to lead a 15-member delegation to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to undertake relief work in quake-hit areas. According to the Hurriyat sources, the decision to send the delegation was taken at a joint meeting of the APHC executive committee and general council at its Rajbagh headquarters in Srinagar.

Members of the proposed delegation have been provided with a set of forms and asked to deposit them with the regional passport office immediately.

The exact date of the visit depends on clearance from the authorities, the sources added. The forms have been given to senior leaders, including Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone, Moulvi Abbass Ansari, Fazal Haq Qureshi and Aga Syed Hassan.—APP
