Aqeel in second round

LAHORE, Nov 22: Top seed Aqeel Khan of Wapda had an easy sailing to enter the second round of the National grass court tennis championship beating Husnain Ayub in straight sets at the Bagh-i-Jinnah courts on Tuesday.

Aqeel, fresh from a victory in the final of Khyber Cup in Peshawar last week, folded the match after dropping only two points 6-0, 6-2.

The other seeded players including second seed Nomi Qamar, third seed Jalil Khan and fourth seed Shahzad Khan also earned facile victories.
