Kasuri leaves for Malta

ISLAMABAD, Nov 21: Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri left here for Malta to attend the meeting of the Commonwealth heads of government (CHOGM) from Nov 25-27. He will attend the preparatory meeting of the foreign ministers of the Commonwealth from Nov 23 to 24.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will represent Pakistan at CHOGM after a gap of six years after its re-admission to the Commonwealth in 2004.

Malta, which is both a member of the Commonwealth and the European Union, will be hosting this meeting.—APP
