By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Nov 21: A bogie of goods train caught fire near Ghakkar Phatak, on the outskirts of the city, on Monday. The chief fire officer said a goods train was at a standstill there when a bogy of the train carrying jute caught fire. A fire tender controlled the fire by taking water from the nearby Railway Marshalling Yard.

Earlier, a fire had broken out in a rice godown in Pipri. Three fire tenders were employed to control the fire.

ARRESTS: Police arrested four alleged robbers and seized two motorcycles, two TT pistols, and four stolen cellphones from them in Mithadar on Monday.

Police said they noticed four men roaming suspiciously on Talpur Road in Mithadar. On search, police found two TT pistols from them. They were identified as Jawed, Gul Nawab, Kashif Joji and Azam.
