LAHORE, Nov 18: Defiant unbeaten double century by Usman Tariq helped Multan draw against Peshawar in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League at the Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar on Friday.

Usman played the big innings under demanding condition as Multan were forced to follow on. Usman, who resumed the innings at overnight score of 119 was unbeaten 223 when the umpires decided to call off the match with the total being 458 for eight.

Usman struck 35 boundaries and one six off 348 balls. Abdul Rauf was the other undefeated batsman with a fine run-a-ball 51, hitting seven fours and three sixes.
