ISLAMABAD, Nov 17: Minister for Petroleum Amanullah Jadoon has expressed the hope that soon there will be positive development on the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project. “We are taking discussions towards final stage for the implementation of the plan,” the minister told Radio Tehran.

Asked if he anticipated an outcome during the ongoing visit of Secretary Petroleum’s to Tehran, Amanullah Khan said: “Yes, there is no hurdle and I am expecting positive development.”

Answering a question, he said Pakistan had its own needs and interests and it will not yield to any external pressure in this regard.—APP
