Pims justifies official’s hiring
ISLAMABAD, Nov 17: The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) on Thursday said the appointment of Dr Raja Amjad Mehmood as Deputy Executive Director was regular and legal. Spokesman for the hospital, Dr Waseem Khwaja, said Dr Mehmood had joined Pims on his own pay scale on the request of the executive director of the hospital.
“On the recommendation of Pims Executive Director Dr Fazle Hadi, the secretary health and the establishment division forwarded the case to Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, who approved his absorption,” he added.
