KARACHI: Plea to arrest killers

KARACHI, Nov. 17: A meeting of representatives of a cross-section of people has demanded judicial inquiry into the murder of Faraz Ahmad Naved and arrest of his killers.

The memorial meeting, held at PMA House on Wednesday paid tributes to the talented youth, son of trade union leader and journalist Baseer Naved.

They said that Faraz Ahmed was one of the youths who was a torch-bearer of peace, and prosperity which reflects from his writings and poetry.

They demanded of the police to return all papers, including his writings to the bereaved family, so that they could be published for posterity.

The meeting was addressed, among others, by Yusuf Masti Khan, Usman Baloch, Karamat Ali, Baseer Naved, and others.
