KARACHI, Nov 17: Seven ships, including a car-carrier carrying 1,710 units, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was active where nine ships, Kota Teguh, Hyundai Stride, Y.M. Moon, to unload and containers, Lake Ranger to offload iron scrap, Pretty Flourish, to unload steel, Victor Talalikhin to unload and load general cargo, Gulf Pride, to load rice, Lalazar and Hartati, to offload crude and palm oil, were berthed after the departure of seven.
The ships, which departed were led by United Prosperity, APL Dalaian, Dubai Gold, Lisa-J, Yantze River, Anjum and Johar, while Hyundai Stride, Lalazar, Glada-D, Sanko Summit and Bolan are due to sail out on Friday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.113m tons comprising 13,773 tons of export cargo and 98,883 tons of import tonnage was handled.
The following ships are due on Friday: Jade-C, Wan Hai-205, with containers, Neptune Ace, with 1,710 cars, Rickmer Mumbai, project cargo, Iran Yamih, with steel coils, Suez Express, with steel and general cargo and Erikousa, with scrap.
