Shoaib unlucky to miss three figures

ISLAMABAD, Nov 16: Shoaib Khan was unlucky to miss his century by one run but Quetta still trailed Islamabad by 98 runs on the second day of their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy (Silver League) match at the Diamond Cricket Ground.

Having batted well for a good part of the day Shoaib fell lbw to Zohaib Ahmed for 99, his innings and that of Naseem Khan who scored 52 helping Quetta reach 241 for eight wickets. The visitors had begun the day at 0-0.

Zohaib was the main wicket-taker for Islamabad with 4-52 getting the top four in the batting order. The home side had scored 339 on the opening day.
