KARACHI: Sindh PML being restructured

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Nov 16: Pakistan Muslim League Sindh is being re-structured on district, Tehsil level and union level to meet the challenge of coming general elections.

This was stated by PML-Sindh Secretary General Nadir Akmal Khan Leghari.

He dispelled the impression, if any, about formation of a forward block at the provincial level and said “we are fully aware of the sentiments of the people who are keen to see the spirit of Muslim League revived.

Mr Leghari said during the last three months, since he had been given the charge of the party executive of the province, he had worked out a strategy to bring back all those who were sitting on the sidelines due to imposition of leadership in the party at the time of elections.

Regarding relief work done by the party for quake victims, he said like all other parties, PML had also contributed its share by sending scores of trucks loaded with the relief goods.

In fact, he said , he himself had visited the quake-hit areas in Muzaffarabad and other affected parts along with relief goods loaded in two trucks soon after the quake and had stayed there for two nights.
