Sana backs language bill

WASHINGTON, Nov 13: The Sindhi Association of North America has welcomed a constitutional amendment bill presented by MNA Mujeeb Pirzado in the National Assembly to declare Sindhi, Punjabi, Seraiki, Pushto and Balochi as national languages of Pakistan.

In a statement issued in Washington on Sunday, Sana said that the amendment was a step in the right direction and would fulfil a longstanding demand of the people of the four federating units of the country.
