DADU, Nov 13: Demanding jobs on merit, around 50 people from Khairpur Nathan Shah taluka, who had applied for jobs in Hesco took out a rally in the town on Sunday. They were led by the president of affected candidates action committee, Sikandar Ali Gadehi and members Mohammad Ishaque and Saleem Korejo.

Their leaders alleged that the Hesco officials had issued orders in different categories on political basis and given jobs to sons and relatives of Hesco officials and influential people.

They further said that candidates who had passed written test and interviews were not given job.

They claimed that 200 appointment orders were issued in Hesco without merit.

They vowed to continue their struggle and appealed to President General Pervez Musharraf to take notice of the matter.

It may be recalled that K.N. Shah is the constituency of federal minister for water and power Liaquat Ali Jatoi.
