KARACHI: Heads of four schools suspended

KARACHI, Nov 13: EDO Education Abdul Wahab Abbasi has suspended headmasters and headmistresses of four public schools for not observing class and off timings of their schools.

According to a handout issued on Sunday, the EDO went to the Govt Girls Secondary School, located at Gate No. 4 of the Governor’s House, and the Govt Primary School, President’s House, and found both of them having been closed before the off time. Teachers and students had also left the schools.

The EDO suspended headmistresses of both the schools and issued show-cause notices to their teachers.

He also suspended headmasters of the Govt Boys Primary School and BL Bhujwani Govt Primary School for not commencing classes and assembly on time. He also issued show-cause notices to those teachers who used to come to the schools late.—PPI
