KARACHI, Nov 12: Three ships carrying containers and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five vessels, Sagamore, Wan Hai-306, CSAV Morumbo and Captain Antalia, to unload and load containers, and Imme, to offload general cargo, were berthed after the departure of six.
The ships, which departed included CMA CGM Karibu, Kota Taha, Eax Taha, Sagamore, Wan Hai-306 and Docomo, while CSAV Morumbi, PAC Antalia, Paraskev-2, Bador, Emerald Sea, Imme, Iran Baabaei and POS Har-mony are due to sail out on Sunday.
A total tonnage of 71,668 tons comprising 17,927 tons of export cargo, including 3,071 tons of rice and 53,741 tons of import tonnage was handled.
The following ships are due on Sunday: Johar, with 65,000 tons of crude oil, Mearsk Alaska, Ilse Wuff and United Prosperity, with containers.
The following ships are due on Monday: Artati, with 5,300 tons of palm oil, Yanaseni and Roseanne, with chemicals, and Xin Qiang, with steel cargo.
