Groom, two others killed in car crash

VEHARI, Nov 11: Three people, including groom, were killed in an accident and six others injured on the Burewala-Chichawatni road on Friday. Police said a car carrying groom and eight others, including three women and two children was going to Chak 5-WB Vehari from Faisalabad.

The driver could not control the vehicle due to speeding near Burewala, about 50 kilometres from here, and it rammed into a tree. Groom Dr Babar, one of his relatives and driver Umar Hayat were killed on the spot while Inayat Ali, the father of Dr Babar, Razia Bibi, Samina Bibi, Mehnaz Bibi, Yasmin and Shahid suffered injuries.

The injured were admitted to the Burewala THQ Hospital where condition of the women is stated to be critical.
