HYDERABAD: Three killed in accident

HYDERABAD, Nov 11: Three people were killed and two others were injured in a road accident at the Jamshoro link road on late Thursday night. They were returning from the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar when their car rammed into a standing truck.

The deceased were identified as Allah Bachayo Rind, the revenue supervisor, Ghulam Raza Rind, a tapedar, and Allah Dino Rind. The injured were Mohammad Khan Rind and Azeem Bagrani.

They were residents of Lakhi Mohammad Rind of Tando Allahyar.

CRACKDOWN: The Hyderabad police have launched a campaign against narcotics dealers and fake spiritual persons (Aamils) who were grabbing money by deceiving people and were harassing women sexually.

According to a police spokesman, 11 persons were arrested from the areas of city, Market, Cantonment, Tando Yousuf police stations during a campaign against narcotics dealers.

Meanwhile, three cases were lodged on the Friday night at the Market, Fort and A-section police stations against Urs Soomro, Abdul Ghafoor and Baba Mohammad Younus for deceiving people who had approached them for their problems.

He said that in some cases women were subjected to sexual harassment.
