KARACHI, Nov 11: Three ships carrying containers, general cargo and chemicals are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where nine ships were berthed. They are: Docomo, Diamond Park, to offload oil, Eax Sanctity, Golden Express, CMA CGM Karibu, and Y.M. Faha to unload and load containers, Cosmos Ace, to unload vehicles, and Santa Fe, to load rice.

Sailing was also active as 11 vessels — Corin Thaikos, Hyundai Future, Y.M. Star, Golden Express, Y.M. Faha, PONL Vera Curz, Eagle Express, Far East Glory, Hajer, Cosmos Ace and Ryong Gang-2 — departed, while CMA CGM Karibu, Sagamore, CSAV Morumbi, Kota Tabah, Eax Sanctity, PAC Antlia and Docomo are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was slow where a total tonnage of 80,974 tons comprising 10,181 tons of export cargo and 70,793 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Shintoku, with chemicals, Emerlad Sea, with containers and Victor Talalikhin, with general cargo.
