Former MNA Afroze Nazeer passes away

SHIKARPUR, Nov 9: Former MNA Afroze Nazeer Ahmed Chaudhry, elder sister of Aftab Shaban Mirani and mother of Salik Nazeer, died of a heart attack on Wednesday afternoon in Karachi. She was 81.

Her funeral will be held on Friday and she would be laid to rest at the Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard. Ms Chaudhry has left behind three sons, Salik Nazir, Shahid Nazir and Tariq Nazir and one daughter.

KILLING: Eight armed men belonging to the Dahani tribe gunned down their rival Dad Mohammad alias Dadan Dahani in the Bagh Ali Dahani village near the Dakhan town on Tuesday night. The deceased was asleep in his home when the gunmen entered the house and opened fire on him. He died on the spot.
