Three killed in road accidents

RAWALPINDI, Nov 8: Three persons died in different incidents here on Tuesday, police said. In the first incident, a trader died after being hit by a stray bullet in Waris Khan.

Adnan Aslam, a dealer in rice, was standing outside a building on Tipu Road Monday night when a stray bullet hit him, injuring him critically. He was taken to the DHQ Hospital where he died in the wee hours of Tuesday.

In the second incident, two persons died when a truck driven by Muhammad Ashraf smashed into a wagon from behind at Pirwadhai Mor. As a result, Zulfiqar Ali and Nisar Ali, travelling in the wagon, were injured critically and died on their way to hospital.
