KARACHI: Essay contest

KARACHI, Nov 7: The Board of Secondary Education, Karachi (BSEK) will organize the 15th Inter-Board Science Essay Competition next month on the topic of nano science and technology.

An announcement to this effect was made in an official statement here on Monday.

It said that the contest would be organized on behalf of the Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad.

The competition to be conducted in English, Sindhi and Urdu will be for the students of the recognized government and private secondary schools.

The announcement pointed out that the contest in Urdu would be held on Dec 6 and that of English on Dec 7 and Sindhi on Dec 8.

Cash prizes of Rs1,000, Rs600 and Rs400 will be awarded in each language separately.—APP
