LAHORE, Nov 6: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood visited Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Mansehra on Eid day to inquire about the condition of the earthquake victims and distribute gifts among them.

The District Nazim reached Muzxaffarabad in the morning and called on the Azad Kashmir chief minister, the chief secretary and the corps commander. He then visited Balakot and Mansehra and distributed 1,000 Eid cakes among the earthquake victims at each place.

He also visited the camp hospital being run by the city district government at Mansehra and donated 450 cots and Rs6,25,000 with instructions that each of 150 patients admitted there be paid Rs2,000 on discharge on recovery.

Data Ganj Bakhsh Town Nazim Tariq Sana Bajwa, Gulberg Town Nazim Faraz Ahmed Chaudhry, the executive district officer (revenue), the district officer (food) and the district officer (environment) accompanied the District Nazim during the visit.
