By Our Correspondent

MIRPURKHAS, Nov 6: A big area was plunged into darkness on the night of Eid as the city’s Hesco feeder remained closed. A large number of people in Khisakpura and Shahi Bazar were busy in shopping when power supply was suspended from the city feeder of Hesco city sub-division.

No Hesco official was present at the complaint centre. The supply was restored after two hours.

JOURNALIST: A journalist was arrested when a court of law issued his non-bailable warrants.

Zubair Ahmed Mujahid was released following intervention of a provincial minister on Saturday.

Mr Mujahid, correspondent of a Karachi-based Urdu daily, was going to Mirpurkhas from the Jhuddo when police detained him.
