13 motorbikes, 4 cars lifted in Sukkur

SUKKUR, Nov 6: At least 13 motorcycles and four cars were snatched during the second day of Eid in separate incidents in Sukkur City amid tight security and high alert.

Out of these incidents, two cars and four motorcycles were snatched from Mochi Bazaar and Tek Chand street alone. The affected persons went to the concerned police station, where the police refused to lodge FIRs.

GAS: Gas supply to Guddu Thermal Power Station and other allied areas, from Mari Gas Field, was restored on Sunday after the lapse of five days.

The 16 inch dia gas pipeline, supplying gas to Guddu Thermal Power Station, was ripped apart with a huge explosion on Tuesday last.

Following the explosion, gas was supplied to Guddu Thermal Power Station from Sui and Zam Zam Gas field, Dadu.

The supply was fully restored today after completion of the repair work.
