Hasan to lead Pakistan ‘A’

LAHORE, Nov 2: In-form middle-order batsman Hasan Raza will lead Pakistan ‘A’ team which was announced on Wednesday to meet England in a three-day practice match scheduled to be played at the Bagh-i- Jinnah from Sunday.

The team has two regular, but Test discarded openers including Imran Farhat and Taufeeq Umar, who were not selected in the Pakistan team announced for two Test against England.

Promising Shahid Yousaf and Faisal Athar with Hasan are three middle-order batsmen.

Team: Taufiq Umar, Imran Farhat, Shahid Yousuf, Hasan Raza (captain), Faisal Athar, Mansoor Amjad, Aminur Rahman (wicket-keeper), Arshad Khan, Mohammad Asif, Shahid Nazir, Mohammad Khalil, Rizwan Ahmed, Junaid Zia, Usman Tariq.
