MIRPURKHAS: Rally against attack

MIRPURKHAS, Nov 2: A number of people including women of the Kehri community took out a rally from the railway station chowk here on Wedn-esday to protest against an attack on the family of Hussain Bux Kehri by a group of people.

The protesters were carrying banners and placards.

They staged a demonstration at the Mirpurkhas district and sessions court.

They demanded registration of case and arrest of the culprits.

Protesters Hussain Bux Kehri and Lal Bux Kehri told reporters that the former lived with his family at a government land near the Murtaza town.

They said a group of people attacked them with sticks and axes in the night on Ramazan 24.

As a result, four persons including two women sustained injuries.

The protesters accused police of negligence.
