PESHAWAR, Nov 1: An earthquake of mild intensity jolted Peshawar and Hazara division at noon on Tuesday, the meteorological department said here. The earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale was recorded by the seismological network of Pakistan, the meteorological department said. Tremors were also felt in Islamabad, it said.
According to preliminary analysis of the meteorological station in Peshawar, the earthquake struck at 12:03pm (PST) and its epicentre was about 200 kilometres north-east of Peshawar in the Hazara division. —APP
