Gulfaraz XI triumph
KARACHI, Oct 31: Gulfaraz XI crushed Munawwaruz Zaman XI by a tennis score of 6-2 to lift the Ramazan Hockey Khursheed Benefit title at UBL Sports Complex on Monday.
The winners opened their account with an Asif Ahmad goal in the 13th minute before Munawwaruz Zaman XI cancelled out the effort two minutes later through Kashif Jawwad.
Adnan Zakir put the winning side ahead with a 21st-minute strike, while Imran Warsi made it 3-1 in the 29th minute. Qavi Khan reduced the margin for Munawwaruz Zaman XI in 32nd minute.
Asif got his double in the 40th minute, Haseem Khan came into action 10 minutes later, while Owais Khan completed the tally in the 55th minute.
