RAWALPINDI, Oct 31: Rawalpindi routed Multan by 290 runs in their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match on Monday, paceman Sohail Tanvir wrecking the visitors with 6-41 at the KRL Stadium.
The home side made a quick declaration on the fourth day adding another nine runs to their overnight score declaring the innings closed at 233-6.
Set a target of 414 runs for victory, Multan crashed to 123 all out with no batsman being able to do anything worthwhile.
While Sohail inflicted most of the damage, Babar Naeem also chipped in with 3-21.
