LAHORE, Oct 31: Peshawar, the reigning Quaid-i-Azam Trophy champions, suffered their second straight defeat after going down to Lahore Shalimar by 140 runs in the Gold League match at the LCCA Ground on Monday.
Ex-international Junaid Zia followed his first-innings five-wicket haul with four for 47 as Peshawar were dismissed for 214 in the second innings.
Shoaib Khan, overnight 39, was the highest run-getter for Peshawar with 54.
Besides Junaid, Test left-armer Mohammad Khalil claimed three for 51.
