ISLAMABAD, Oct 31: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Lt-Gen Munir Hafiez on Monday retired simultaneously from his office and the army, an official of the bureau said.

Mr Hafiez who had served the NAB for four years, spent his last day in the bureau’s headquarters and held a meeting with officials.

He joined the NAB in 2001 as its chairman and had already availed one-year extension in his service in the NAB after his retirement orders were issued in October 2004.
