By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Oct 31: Former Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Pakistan People’s Party Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto has condemned blasts in New Delhi on Saturday that killed scores of innocent people.

In a statement on Monday the former Prime Minister said that the explosions on the eve of Deewali was an act of terror, which must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

She said that on her behalf and on behalf of the Pakistan People’s Party she expressed her shock and condemned this blatant act of terrorism.

She also expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.

She said that terrorism was a scourge that had nothing to do with religion and must be condemned by all civilised people.
