ISLAMABAD, Oct 30: The Pakistan cricket team minus the controversial Shoaib Akhtar on Sunday visited the quake-stricken children at hospitals in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Led by captain Inzamamul Haq the players went straight to the Rawalpindi General Hospital from the Islamabad International Airport after arriving from Lahore early in the morning.

After cheering the children up the players then went to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad where they stayed for quite some time as they tried to bring smiles to the kids.

“It is distressing to see the children in pain, it is a tragedy that we can never forget,” Inzamam said while vice captain Younis Khan added that the real pain of the earthquake would begin now.
