RAWALPINDI, Oct 30: A child care centre will be constructed on the pattern of Faizul Islam Complex on Adiala Road under the supervision of the district government to provide shelter and quality education to those children who have become homeless and orphans due to the earthquake.

This was stated by M.A. Shehzad Bhatti while talking to reporters during his visit to RGH, Holy Family Hospital and DHQ Hospital.

Mr Bhatti said a meeting with the district nazim, Raja Javed Ikhlas, was held in which he was briefed about the feasibility of this scheme. Mr Ikhlas has assured him full cooperation for the scheme, he said. Initially five hundred children would be accommodated, he added.—Our Reporter
