KARACHI, Oct 30: A Kenyan woman, who had completed her prison term, was deported to her country with a ticket arranged by a local non-governmental organization late Saturday night.
A team of special police came to the Special Prison for Women on Saturday night and took Aishah Mgbejume, a drug smuggler, to the airport where she was boarded on a Nairobi-bound flight.
Aishah was the 25th women, who have been sent back to their countries with tickets arranged by an NGO, Legal Aid Office (LAO). Majority of these women were drug smugglers.
