Rawalpindi on top against Multan

RAWALPINDI, Oct 29: A century by Usman Saeed and good bowling by the Rawalpindi bowlers put them on top against Multan on the second day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match at the KRL Stadium on Saturday.

The home side extended their overnight first innings score of 256-7 to 349 all out with Usman Saeed cracking a fine 122.

The bowlers then cut the touring side down to 108-5 in 38 overs by the close with Babar Naeem taking two wickets and Sohail Tanvir and Rizwan Akbar snapping up one apiece.
