Customs CC in Trophy final

KARACHI, Oct 29: Customs CC (CCC) entered the final of third Dr.M.A. Shah Floodlight Trophy Cricket after a four-wicket victory over M.Tex XI at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium on Friday night.

Fahad Iqbal hit an enterprising 57 with four boundaries and three sixes but failed to save M.Tex Xi from defeat.

M.Tex XI were dismissed form 125 in 18th over with off-break bowler Faraz Patel grabbing three wickets for 15 runs. In reply CCC reached the target with two balls to spare.

Jawad Mansoor hit an attacking 47 with his six hits to the boundary and Daniyal Ahsan hit five fours in his 43.

The final of the tournament will be played on Sunday night with winner getting Rs.100,000.
