ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: The second Canadian consignment of 180 modular tent sections arrived here on Saturday. The consignment has been sent in response to Pakistan’s appeal for tents. Canada would provide a total of 285 tents, providing shelter for about 1,500 people displaced by the October 8 earthquake. “This is an incremental instalment donated by the Canadian government apart from the 1,200 blankets delivered earlier this month,” said Canadian High Commissioner David Collins in a statement issued here.
