KARACHI, Oct 29: Three ships carrying DAP fertilizer and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships were berthed. They are: Nanking, Iran Yamin to unload and load general cargo, Al-Marwah, Y.M. Faha, Conti Esperance, Kota Mesra and Sagamore, to unload and load containers.

Five ships, Kota Teraju, Golden Express, Y.M.Faha, Canmmar Success and Lalazar departed, while Al-Marwah, Global Tianjin, Sagamore, Sinar Bontang, Corin Thaikos, Adhidaya, Conti Esperance and Pearl are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.104m tons comprising 26,575 tons of export cargo and 76,972 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Santafe, to load 13,500 tons of rice, Bei Hai, with 42,174 tons of fertilizer, and United Prosperity, with containers.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Kingston to load chemicals, Santa Bhum Hanjin Busan, Thor Captain, with containers, Hajer, to load 7,300 tons of rice, Iran Sarbaz and Paige, with 23,082 and 26,249 tons of steel.
